The Opportunity

The Adobe Document Cloud Engagement Team is looking for an Insights & Analytics Manager who is passionate about using big data to deliver outstanding customer experiences and capturing key insights to drive critical business decisions. You’ll be responsible for delivering tactical insights about Adobe Acrobat product usage, campaign engagement, and overall customer retention. Additionally, you should have experience working within a highly cross-functional ecosystem, leading change, and presenting effectively to executive and non-technical audiences.

What you’ll do

  • Develop compelling narratives that convey the relevant data-driven insights to influence and inform various internal partner audiences
  • Collect and find insights in customer engagement data to develop business cases relevant to Acrobat trialists and customers
  • Partner with various cross-functional teams (Engagement & Retention, Data Science, Finance, Engineering, Product, Campaign, and Marketing) to drive Product-Led Growth in Acrobat
  • Use statistical and data science models to analyze and better understand the end-to-end customer journey, from acquisition and conversion to engagement and retention
  • Design and develop insightful analytics deliverables, projections, and target settings, via a variety of statistical tools and techniques including capturing requirements, data profiling, data analysis, statistical analysis, predictive modeling, use case definition, data visualization, and data storytelling
  • Capture, synthesize, and interpret disparate quantitative data within the context of business objectives, identify trends, and explore data through segments and cohorts
  • Implement engagement and retention business models, recommend tests to optimize the customer experience, and analyze the outcomes of engagement and retention initiatives

What you’ll need to succeed

  • BA/BS in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or other quantitative fields. Master’s is preferred.
  • 8-10 years of proven experience driving data/business analysis or in a related field
  • Strong proficiency in querying and manipulating large data sets for analytical purposes using SQL-like languages (Hive/Hadoop experience preferred)
  • Familiarity with big data platforms such as Hadoop
  • Experience with programming languages such as Python or R
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau/Power BI
  • Statistical Modelling in Microsoft Excel or Power Pivot
  • Understanding of statistical modeling, machine learning, or data mining concepts, and a record of solving problems with these methods.
  • Customer-centric approach and understanding consumer behavior (what drives them to use the product or cancel their subscription)
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written), relationship-building skills, and a strong teammate
  • A phenomenal sense of humor
