What you'll do...

You will be working alongside a team of ML Engineers building Conversational Products for Walmart Associates and Customers. Your next team works extensively on NLP, NLU, intent and context recognition.

Building the right technology foundation for Infrastructure & platforms is vital to success at the scale of Walmart. Our team builds and maintains the foundational technologies that support the tech organization. Included in this are data platforms, enterprise architecture, DevOps, cloud computing, and infrastructure. All of these products and services are supported by scalable and powerful infrastructure, ensuring a secure and seamless employee and customer experience across stores, digital channels, and distribution centers.

What you'll do:

• Work in a highly collaborative environment with a multidisciplinary team.
• Work with senior data scientists to design, architect, and build AI/ML model and model systems.
• Work with machine learning engineers to deploy, operate, and optimize scalable solutions.
• Work with product managers to design user journeys, feedback loop and analyze user telemetry. 
• Work with a set of robust work standards to ensure we build trustworthy AI/ML solutions.

What you'll bring:

• You should be able to help execute our trustworthy AI/ML practice in collaboration with stakeholders across the enterprise.
• Contribute to the research and development of using the advanced generative AI models including proprietary and open source LLM models
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and translate them into technical solutions using generative AI techniques
• Build intent frameworks using Azure/GCP to deployed Q&A patterns using GenAI.
• Strong Python programming skills using ML libraries
• Demonstrate skills and experience with latest LLM tools and techniques (LangChain, Promptflow, vector DB, prompt engineering…)
• Must have built and deployed to production LLM projects at other clients in a thought leadership role
• Conduct thorough testing, evaluation, and validation of generative AI systems to ensure their reliability and quality.
