Job Description

People Data Science team is developing AI/ML solutions to help art’s 1.6 million employees find their next roles, learn about the work, and connect with each other. Our solutions help improve hiring quality, expedite the hiring process, personalize learning, identify career paths, and acquire information through search and personalization.

You will be working in a highly collaborative environment with a multidisciplinary team. You will have opportunities to work with senior data scientists to design, architect, and build AI/ML model and model systems, work with machine learning engineers to deploy, operate and optimize scalable solutions, work with product managers to design user journeys, feedback loop and analyze user telemetry. You will have opportunities to develop yourself with an end-to-end product experience. You will work with a set of robust work standards to ensure we build trustworthy AI/ML solutions.

The ideal candidate will have extensive academic or industrial experience in AI/ML to achieve Fair AI or Explainable AI outcomes.

• You will be able to help refine our Fair AI/ML policy in collaboration with stakeholders across the enterprise.
• You will be able to translate fairness, explanability, privacy, security, or robustness mandates into technical guidelines and engineering requirement that will operate at scale.
• You will be able to effectively coach your team to work through ambiguous issues, integrate input from stakeholders across the company, and craft actionable and measurable approaches that will ensure fulfillment of art’s digital commitment and build trust with customers, suppliers and associates.
• You will be able to lead applied research programs to address fairness issues in the areas of Natural Language Processing, Knowledge Mining, Deep Learning, Classification and Computer Vision. 
• You will be able to support and develop a research culture within the Data Science Center of Excellence that encourages experimentation and scientific process to drive innovation in our products and service
• You will be able to communicate internally and externally through publication, presentations, and other mediums on research progress, major breakthroughs and product innovation.
