Duties: Own and manage key metrics such as “On-Time Delivery” and “Click to Promise” which are part of the Net Promoter Score (NPS) by optimizing processes and leading initiatives to drive delivery speed and accuracy and to improve top-line customer growth and retention. Identify Outbound Transportation defects with rule-based heuristics, Structured Query Language (SQL) in Teradata, SAP Hana, Hive and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) with data manipulations using Python and R to create business critical dashboards in Tableau to drive operational improvements for On-Time delivery experience.
For the Click to Promise (CTP) metric, root-cause opportunities to advance the promise accuracy to customers by creating and using simulation and production dashboards in order to identify inventory, fulfillment, and carrier capacity constraints.
Manage systematic lane set-ups and carrier performance for conveyable, non-conveyable, high-velocity, third party fulfillment nodes, and store locations using SQL and data analysis scripts in KNIME to maintain data tables. Utilize statistical modeling tools (e.g., R and Python) to plan and optimize the network’s design and capacity planning initiatives. Ensure the accuracy and completeness of the data capture strategy and support the implementation of product solutions.
Generate processes to correct underperforming tools, services, and operational practices using statistical inference. Drive key enterprise metrics. Utilize data engineering to audit and build single database for all outbound supply chain metrics. Improve the efficiency of reporting and provide end-to-end visibility of package flows from order creation to delivery.
Own the analytics for Walmart’s Control Tower initiative, defining key metrics and creating staging tables with SQL for external data exchange model and building I-Frames with Tableau. Direct team of analysts for reporting and data integration of Walmart Sortation sites to improve attainment, service, mis-sorts, Ready to Depart (RTD), and load factor. Present metrics to all levels of the business and explain defects and corrective actions within the outbound supply chain area.
Utilize scripting to drive effective performance management of Walmart’s in-house carriers and final mile delivery partners. Supervise three employees (1 2 Senior Data Analyst(s), 1 Analyst II).
Minimum education and experience required: Master’s degree or the equivalent in Mathematics, Statistics, Analytics, Business Administration, Engineering (Any), or related field and 1 year of experience in business analytics or related field: OR Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent in Mathematics, Statistics, Analytics, Business Administration, Engineering (Any), or related field and 3 years of experience in business analytics or related field.
