Job Description

What you'll do...

In addition to Bentonville, AR, successful candidate can be located in Dallas, TX, Tampa FL or Charlotte, NC.

Modeling and data mining projects by providing business relevant conclusions and forecasts; Design and develop predictive models using statistical, machine learning and NLP techniques; collaborating with internal and external customers; and conducting business research utilizing statistical and quantitative modeling to drive Walmart Claim Services (WCS) strategy. Implement models and strategies using A/B testing and track the business performance. Provide reporting & analysis and data-driven insights to support and continuously improve WCS business strategy. Communicates analysis findings to customers by creating presentations, dashboards, summaries and charts. Demonstrates up-to-date expertise in Predictive Analysis and Reporting area and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans by providing expert advice and guidance to business partners.

You’ll make an impact by:

• Designing, developing, and implementing Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Graph Neural Network (GNN) models using Python/ GCP or other modeling tools.
• Designing Experiments (A/B Testing, multivariate) and track test results, to elaborate recommendations to business partners and optimize operational processes
• Designing, developing, and supporting clear, concise, and powerful data visualizations that portray data insights to our customers using BI tools such as Power BI and Tableau
• Leveraging your experience with SQL, Python, Google Cloud, Tableau Prep, Alteryx, R, SAS, and Teradata to prepare data for analysis, scheduled and ad-hoc reporting, and dashboards.
• Identifying business process gaps and developing analytical solutions to solve them
• Learning our underlying claims processes to be able to offer innovative technical solutions to drive effectiveness and efficiency.

• You are comfortable with ambiguity and making findings of fact, capable of interfacing with Walmart’s business platforms to present analytical findings.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Statistics, or related field and 3 years’ experience in data analytics, project management, business, or
related area OR 5 years’ experience in data analytics, project management, business, or related area.

2 years’ experience using intermediate functionality of Microsoft Office.
