We have a range of 3-, 6- and 12-month industry placements across our Systems teams.
The Systems IP team develops and delivers a wide range of differentiating technologies and products to internal and external customers. System IP products are crucial to Arm’s silicon partners in creating modern system on chip products for multiple sectors, and demand high-performance and low power designs, delivered with fast time to market and high quality. Powerful interconnects, interrupt controllers and debug and trace solutions are the main areas covered by these products.
The Systems Development team builds compute systems integrating a multitude of ARM IPs including CPU, GPU, NPU and system IPs, targeting various market domains ranging from mobile phones, IoT devices, data centers and autonomous driving. The responsibilities of the team include micro-architecting the system based on the requirements and creating the RTL of the system with all IPs integrated ensuring it is high performant whilst meeting the area and power targets. We perform robust system verification to guarantee it functions as expected and meets the quality standard expected.

We work in small to medium-sized teams with most following modern Agile principles. Engineers share and give ideas to others, document and present their work for discussion, review and support the efforts of others, whilst sharing their findings impartially and authoritatively.
