Responsibilities:

Our Austin CPU group is seeking motivated individuals looking for internships in the summer of 2023. Interns work side by side making meaningful contributions to our Cortex X and Neoverse CPU roadmaps. We offer internships in areas such as design verification, performance modeling, RTL design and physical implementation. In addition to technical work, our interns will have the opportunity to network with senior leaders, recent graduates and expert engineers in a number of formal and informal settings.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Currently enrolled in Bachelors or Masters's program in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science
  • Relevant coursework and projects in computer architecture, data structures, algorithms, VLSI, or logic design
  • Excellent programming skills including experience with C++, SystemVerilog, Java, or Python

Nice To Have Skills and Experience:

  • Familiarity with Linux/Unix computing environments.
  • Knowledge of revision control systems and large-scale project development a plus.
  • Prior experience or coursework in Out-of-Order microarchitecture, performance analysis, or modern verification frameworks is a plus.
  • Experience with SystemC TLM is nice to have.
