Job Description

We are extending our ADAS BU, which is working on the most disruptive innovations and new technologies in the context of advanced driver assistant systems. As a part of Harman’s ADAS BU Data Services team, you enable the development of data-driven products. You analyze data requirements, contribute to the design of Machine Learning based components and consult the product teams about data-related topics. You design, develop and evaluate solutions for different steps of the data collection process and evaluate and adapt the latest research trends for data-efficient development.

What You Will Do:

• Collect and analyze requirements for data-driven products, design and discuss with the product teams possible perception solutions.
• Prepare and supervise the data collection process, from the definition of sensors to the labeling and evaluation
• Contribute and own high-impact projects along the whole data pipeline
• Research AI/ML literature and deepen your knowledge about the state-of-the-art in various ML communities. Work on Object Detection, Body pose estimation, Data Augmentation, Generative Networks, or Neural rendering algorithms.
• Design, develop and evaluate AI/ML based solutions in context of data collection
• Design and maintain DevOPs and MLOps infrastructure

What You Need:

• Masters Degree or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics or similar qualification
• Proficiency in (object-oriented) programming with python
• Familiarity with TDD and clean code principles
• In-depth knowledge of python frameworks:
  • scientific libraries /data wrangling (numpy, scipy, pandas)
  • deep learning (pytorch, torchvision, detectron, tensorflow)
  • computer vision (OpenCV)
• Understanding of neural networks and popular architectures:
  • CNN's
  • Transformers
  • Recurrent Networks
• Knowledge of DevOps practices: CI/CD, automated testing, code analysis
