About The Role:

Our People team is hiring an HR Systems Manager to implement and maintain critical HR tools and technologies across Bowery. In this role, you will own the management of our HR systems, including the HRIS, timekeeping, analytics, and talent management systems with a focus on driving adoption and engagement. You will lead in key areas such as creating dashboards and relevant people analytics, compliance, and coordination with our internal payroll team to ensure perfect payroll. This is an exciting time to join, as you’ll play a key role in shaping this important function and building the processes to help us scale.

This role is based out of our NYC HQ. We follow a hybrid working model.

What You'll Do:

• Become the system expert and organization go-to person for all people systems
• Work closely with teammates across the People team, Payroll, IT as well as employees and managers across all our departments to build and improve people-related processes
• Provide comprehensive administration of the HRIS that supports all HR data from onboarding to offboarding and everything in between
• Train employees on processes and system functionality (including the creation and education of self-service processes)
• Maintain all People related data, which includes process ownership for data entry, auditing, and maintaining employee data for all employees across multiple locations
• Maintain company-wide metrics and dashboards (designing and distributing various reports)
• Troubleshoot and partner with appropriate experts to resolve production system issues
• Create a roadmap of features to roll out and related training programs to educate employees on new functionality
• Proactively generate ideas and recommendations for system and process enhancements
• Handle confidential data with care and ensure all necessary security measures are taken

Who You Are:

• You are experienced in HR Operations and have worked within an HRIS
• You have strong analytical abilities, a love for systems and data, and can leverage metrics to identify trends and build action plans
• You have an understanding of complex payroll, compliance, and employment laws
• You have experience in call centers, distribution centers, or manufacturing environments. (Exposure to larger, dispersed employee populations, including non-exempt workforces a plus)
• You are an excellent verbal and written communicator 
• You are an organized project planner
• You are someone who can work cross-functionally and with multiple stakeholders to deliver the right solution
• You are a multi-tasker who thrives in a fast-paced environment with overlapping deadlines
• You are someone who exudes warmth and passion, as well as a natural ability to build and manage strong relationships quickly
