Enterprise Data & AI Services (ED&AIS) is a new central IT function accountable for enterprise strategy and standards in Data and AI engineering, enabling services, information data architecture as well as the delivery of data provisioning services and AI product delivery for the enterprise. The organization works closely with Data & AI delivery teams across Customer Facing IT (CFIT) teams and data governance teams from LoB Data offices, supporting the build of the AstraZeneca Data Mesh products and analytical solutions.
What you’ll do
The Information Architect has responsibility to deliver the efficient design of data and information architectures to support business objectives. A key component of delivery will be to ensure that AstraZeneca data is Findable, Accessible, Interoperable and Reusable (FAIR) across our systems, ready for either direct use by consumers or AI machines. In the IA team we partner with engineering, business data governance and data analysis as well as Enterprise architecture functions to deliver business value. This involves an end to end platform comprising of integrated data services (ingest, catalogue, unify, privacy, access etc) enabling teams to self-serve in the preparation of new, and consumption of existing, data assets in line with Operations data standards, polices and operating procedures (governed by the Data Office and Information Architecture).
Each member of the team will be aligned within Operations function & aligned to a domain(e.g. Plan, Make, Deliver) and will support the delivery of the D&A portfolio through the provision of coordinated Information Architecture services and design. You will be a key part of the Information Architecture Review Board, ensuring that all Information Architectures are reviewed and are aligned and where required represent IA in business data governance forums.
