Job Description

We invite you to join our Advanced Analytics and Artificial Intelligence group. You will take part in our efforts to use Artificial Intelligence to predict novel connections between biological entities. These predictions can be very useful in the drug discovery process by estimating new associations between genes and diseases. One could also use the same approach, for example, to identify unknown drug interactions or to suggest new drug repurposing cases. It will be an exciting opportunity for you to learn about knowledge graphs, neural networks, cloud platforms and enhance your python coding skills. Knowing how to code in Python is required. Your main objective will be to study our code, run it and then document it. Having a documented code is of extreme importance for future developers and users to be able to understand and advance existing work. In this process, you will also have the opportunity to identify and fix bugs, improve code performance and readability, implement unit testing and do data analysis. This will require from you creativity and leadership skills. You will be mentored and assisted by the developer of this project and will contribute to the discussions of our team.
