Job Description

AI Engineering is looking for a Product Lead to report to the AI Engineering Lead. The role will be pivotal in delivery of the ORD AI Strategy, and particularly focus on building out teams to support Generative AI demands, strategize as to a long term plan for this technology, and work with other Product Leads, Engineering Leads, Business Relationship Managers, Engineers, Business Analysts, and R&D Stakeholders to jointly own the mission, vision, roadmaps, requirements, user needs, and communications strategies for the strategy.

Requirements

• Must have outstanding business acumen and comfort with technical teams, data, and systems. The successful candidate will be a self-starter comfortable with ambiguity, with strong attention to detail
• Comfortable with high complexity and willing to learn fast about new concepts
• Able to think strategically about value to the business and create value-driven objectives for teams
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills with the ability to work with others to achieve objectives
• Must have exceptional stakeholder management skills with demonstrable experience

• Demonstrates the ability to think outside the box and innovate
• Must have demonstrable experience of performing highly in incredibly novel and undefined situations
• Must be technically able and comprehensive in the technical workings and underlying algorithms of sophisticated AI models (ie. GPT)
• Good understanding of infrastructure, compute, regulatory requirements necessary for the delivery of AI tools and projects
• Be able to manage budgets and forecast skills requirements to deliver large scale complex projects
• Must excel at working in a matrixed environment
• Experience in building new products from the ground up

Example tasks

• Continual interaction and management of senior technical stakeholders
• Collaborating with teams across IT and R&D to maximize available resource and skillsets across the company and in different teams to deliver the ORD AI strategy
• Ability to build comprehensive roadmaps linked to deliverables and value
• Building a comms strategy for a strategic roll out
• Collaborate to produce, verify, and gain buy in for a strategy for generative AI
