Founded in 2015, Bowery Farming is on a mission to democratize access to high-quality, local, safe and sustainable produce. We build smart indoor farms near cities, growing fresher, pesticide-free Protected Produce with bold flavor in precisely controlled environments, 365 days a year. About The Role:

Bowery is looking for an Agricultural Science Intern to help design and execute experiments that will increase our understanding of how environmental conditions affect plant growth.

This is a 12-week, full-time summer internship (June-August) based out of our farm in Kearny, NJ, and will require some travel.

What You’ll Do:

• Apply scientific learning methods to collect and analyze phenotypic data of plant growth and harvested yield
• Create and present peer-reviewed work
• Gain hands-on experience working in vertical farms

Who You Are:

• A rising senior or recent graduate from a Bachelors, Masters or Ph.D. program 
• You love plants, data, and math
• A clear communicator who can organize and boil down complex ideas to cross-functional audiences
