You will be part of the IT Information Management & Analytics team and in this role, you will at the forefront of implementing state-of-the-art Generative AI, Machine Learning and AI Cognitive Services enhanced business use cases. This Lead AI Architect role will work with the business stakeholders, IT business partners, functional consultants, and infrastructure/technology teams to deliver innovative AI technology solutions that accelerate digital transformation and drive operational efficiency as well as business growth. You will focus primarily on the full cycle delivery of AI/ML use cases from requirements/design to release, driving the evolution of AI/ML infrastructure/process, and enabling Intelligent Apps & Automation, next generation of AI Copilots/Assistants, etc.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and architecture of advanced Generative AI large language models, Machine Learning and Deep Learning Models/algorithms to enhance and/or automate existing business processes with predictive and intelligent decision-making, content aggregation and contextualized insights.

• Closely work with Enterprise Architecture, Global Security, Legal & Data Privacy teams to ensure the AI solution design & architecture are reviewed, approved and compliant with all Honeywell standards, regulatory requirements, etc.

• Define and implement best practices for building, testing, and deploying scalable AI solutions, with a focus on generative models and LLM.

• Develop and oversee MLOps strategies to streamline the deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of AI models, particularly focusing on LLM and generative AI models, ensuring their robustness, scalability, and compliance with industry standards.

• Stay at the forefront of AI technological advancements, especially in Generative AI and LLM, and assess their applicability to our business needs.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, AI/ML & data engineers, and functional SMEs, to ensure seamless integration and alignment of AI solutions with business objectives.

• Oversee the technical aspects of AI projects, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and integration.

• Develop robust and secure data pipelines and infrastructure to support AI model training and deployment.

• Lead the evaluation of new AI tools, frameworks, and methodologies, advocating for the adoption of technologies that align with our strategic goals.

• Present technical strategies and progress updates to stakeholders and executive leadership.

• Mentor and guide a team of AI engineers and scientists, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation.

Engage with the AI community through publications, conferences, and collaborations, promoting the cutting-edge AI capabilities.

YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence or a related technical/IT field.
• 7+ years of experience in AI/ML architecture, including hands-on experience with Generative AI and LLM.
• Demonstrated ability in designing and implementing complex AI systems in a production environment.
• Proven experience in MLOps methodologies and tools, with a specific focus on deploying, monitoring, and optimizing Large Language Models (LLMs) in production environments.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, and experience with AI/ML frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• In-depth understanding of the latest trends and developments in AI and ML, especially in generative models and LLM.
• Strong leadership skills with experience in leading technical teams.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

WE VALUE

• Experience in deploying AI solutions in cloud environments (AWS, Azure).
• Understanding of application development framework like LangChain, LlamaIndex, and knowledge of vector index, vector databases.

• Project experience with NLP/NLG, AI Conversational Agent (Chatbot), OCR.
• Experience with Big data platform technologies Hadoop, PySpark, Hive, etc.
• Experience with DevSecOps framework, develop CICD pipelines, orchestrate workflow using Airflow, Opsera.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Working Experience in an Agile/Scrum/Scaled Agile and DevOps based team environment.
• Certifications in Generative AI, AI/ML and Cloud platforms.
• Publications or presentations at well-regarded AI conferences or in respected journals.
• Active participation in the AI research community and contributions to open-source projects.
