The Enterprise IT NPI/Engineering team member will lead ALM & DevSecOps domain as the Service Owner and provide subject matter expertise. He will work with the engineering (& IT) stakeholders across 5 SBG’s of Honeywell.

Job Description:

Responsible for driving Software ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) & DevSecOps solutions for all the five businesses. He/She will manage multiple ALM applications portfolio for the businesses. This person will be responsible for identifying and delivering value to the businesses through implementation of contemporary DevSecOps solutions and leveraging existing assets to enable the business strategy, achieve goals, value drivers and KPIs. He would work with business leaders globally and support them to achieve the business goals.

Responsibilities include:

• Ability to understand business needs, processes and information requirements and lead solution development in SW engineering and adjacent technologies.
• Ability to work closely with business stakeholders to understand and influence how business can align to strategic goals
• Experience in developing business cases and in managing budgets
• Ability to work closely with other groups, IT partners and suppliers/partners to achieve project / program goals
• Experience in building and managing talent and develop high-performance teams
• Excellent communication skills along with an ability to engage and influence senior managers / business leaders in a large / matrixed organization
• Ability to communicate technically with technical teams within Honeywell and/or suppliers/partners while at the same time being able to work with and communicate to business stakeholders
• Drive business relationships and manage both Internal IT & Business stakeholders as well as IT Partners
• Experience in leading a creating and leading a Centre of Excellence (CoE)/captives/offshore units.
• Manage the team to deliver upon agreed KPIs
• Support delivery teams on various projects to have the required multi-discipline team including internal and 3rd party resources to ensure Customer Service
• Delivery Excellence. Demonstrate eminence across various technologies and products that complement ALM (Application Lifecycle Mgmt.) solutions and develop a team with deep knowledge of such products and technologies
• Co-ordinate and leverage relationships with leading companies and product vendors in DevSecOps space to assimilate product expertise build internal resources and help build thought leadership/POCs to grow business.
• Resource management and project allocation. Drive Solution Development
• Support the development of Proof of Concepts and Industry Solutions

Qualifications:

• 15+ years of experience in development / implementation, support, and maintenance with a track record in Engineering / IT
• 10+ years of managerial experience, preferably across large corporations either within the companies or as a consultant. Experience across industries such as Aerospace, Transportation, Building Solutions, Industrial Equipment will be a big plus
• Having a understanding of Generative AI and ideas to leverage AI within ALM would be will be a plus

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience in implementation of large DevSecOps tool deployments and managing diverse global teams
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively interact with all levels of external and internal customers
• Excellent English communication skills, written and spoken
• Prior work experience in Engineering
• Experience with methodologies of Agile SCRUM Development
• Demonstrated problem solving and conflict resolution skills
