As a Engineering Analytics Director, responsible for NPI Engineering & Projects Engineering Analytics, you will play a pivotal role in driving our data analytics strategy, leveraging advanced analytical techniques to provide actionable insights that optimize business operations and enhance decision-making across various departments.

You will lead a team of analytics professionals and work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and manage data-driven projects that contribute to the company's growth and success.

 You will deploy standardized work, project management methodologies, templates, governance, and tools to enable consistent, high quality, agile execution of IT projects.

 You will provide leadership in improving IT processes and programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Fully own planning, execution, and delivery excellence of NPI Engineering & Engineering Projects Analytics Roadmap
  • Develop and execute the overall analytics strategy in alignment with business goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify business requirements, translating them into data-driven solutions
  • Drive the collection, cleansing, and integration of data from various sources to ensure accuracy and relevance.
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in analytics and data science.
  • Present findings, inference, insights, and recommendations to senior leadership and executives, influencing strategic decisions.
  • Provide thought leadership and contribute to the development of analytics roadmaps and long-term vision.
  • Work closely with product teams to develop new products and features that are data-driven.
  • Integrate information from large enterprise systems.
  • Work on large data sets, engineering data warehouse.
  • Bring contemporary analytics solutions including Generative AI, LLMs
  • Mentor and develop analytics engineers.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in engineering, data science, or a related field.
  • 16+ years of experience in data analytics and engineering.
  • Experience in New Product Introduction, includes understanding of analysing market factor / customer needs, identifying opportunities for innovation, measuring and improving product development lifecycle time, go to market and product launch strategy.
  • Experience in different phases of Product lifecycle, engineering change management, and effective transition from engineering design, simulation, to manufacturing
  • Integrating information from large enterprise systems like TeamCenter, SAP, Oracle ERP by understanding the different data formats and schemas, and how to use data integration tools to combine data from multiple systems.
  • Worked on Large Data Sets, Engineering Data Warehouse and how to use data mining and machine learning techniques to extract insights from large data sets. Preference to Snowflakes, Azure Open AI, LangChain Models
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, ReScale or similar
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as PowerBI, Thoughtspot
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
