Be part of a team that designs, develops, and integrates highly complex software functions for the industrial business as part of Honeywell’s Safety & Productivity Solutions (SPS) group. SPS creates solutions serving more than 500 million workers worldwide in the energy, construction, industrial safety, transportation & logistics, retail, and healthcare sectors. You will be an active and integral member of a team to achieve the completion of goals. You will also generate innovative solutions in work situations; trying different and novel ways to deal with problems and opportunities.

We are seeking a senior advanced AI/ML software engineer to be part of a new team exhibiting the entrepreneurial mindset. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Spatial problem solving, patterns and algorithms for making decisions with known constraints and rules, vision, traffic patterns and predictions.
• Lead AI/ML strategy for a BTI in the automation space
• Own quality of Data Collection, Labeling, and Learning Solutions for this initiative. Drive Data, Algorithm, and AI/ML design reviews
• Work with engineering team to systematically improve AI/ML pipelines.
• Eloquently communicate and document findings to train and teach. 

YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor’s degree
• 5+ years of experience in Algorithm, Data, and Machine Learning Domain

• Experience with Reinforcement Learning, Deep Learning, and Optimization.
• Exceptional data science skills, including a strong understanding of statistics, probability, and algorithms that enable you to quickly come up with solutions that combine multiple information streams
• Previous experience moving prototypes to production environment and optimizing models in production environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience executing Agile software methodology
• Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision, who consistently take the initiative to get things done, do things before being asked by others or forced to by events.
• Ability to consistently make timely decisions even in the face of complexity, balancing systematic analysis with decisiveness.
• Can quickly analyze, incorporate, and apply new information and concepts.
