Equipment Reliability & Monitoring (Advance Project Engineer)

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for providing consulting/supporting to project team for end-to-end design & delivery of static/rotating asset fault models & predictive maintenance solutions for Refinery, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, and other customers.

Act as a reliability expert for various projects and should be able to lead the discussion/resolve customer queries.

Design the FMEA (Failure mode and effects analysis) blueprints including recommendation and action plan based on available site instrumentation.

Conduct FMEA blueprint workshop with Client SME’s and lead the discussion for blueprint finalization.

Develop models/logic to identify repetitive failures and other problems that adversely affect asset/plant operations using various techniques such as Machine Learning, Prediction, Fault tree analysis, Root-Cause Failure Analysis etc.

Support POC’s by analyzing asset historical data, build fault model and find out potential asset failure suggesting recommendation and action plan to avoid the failures.

Evaluate the benefit such as avoiding production loss, shutdown deferral, spare & labor cost saving from early failure detection by various Honeywell tools and lead the discussion to convince customer for justifying the value capture.

Design and define methodologies to measure customer site KPI’s, value capture, useful remaining life etc.

Translating and conveying impact of process and system changes to bottom line and articulating the benefits & value proposition of asset monitoring solution such as Asset Utilization, Overall Equipment Effectiveness, Asset reliability, Remaining Useful life, etc to the customer.

Find out improvement opportunities in existing product using domain knowledge to bring more value from Honeywell Tools

Key Skills:

In depth understanding of rotary assets such as centrifugal/reciprocating/screw Compressor, Pump, Gear box, Gas Turbine, Steam turbine, Blower, Motor, Turboexpander etc.

Expert in rotary asset operation, performance, reliability monitoring, condition monitoring, maintenance practices, root cause failure analysis, RCM techniques

Expert in vibration spectrum analysis, oil analysis, motor current signature analysis etc.

Strong understanding of typical rotary/static asset failure pattern, root cause and recommendation to prevent the same

Good to have previous experience in any third party APM applications.

Strong analytical, troubleshooting & and problem-solving skills, quality oriented, logical & thorough.

Experience: 10+ years, major experience in role as Reliability, Condition Monitoring team

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in mechanical

Certification: CAT-III /CAT-II Vibration analysis, CMRP, CRE
