Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned and hands-on Lead Software Architect to guide the design and evolution of our Honeywell Labor Management System. This system is vital for Honeywell software strategy and is deployed both on-prem and as a SaaS solution. As we look forward to the future, AI integration is at the forefront, promising game-changing modules resolving the labor shortage issues in the industry. With our move to Azure Native architecture, you will be a key figure in ensuring its seamless transformation and integration.

Key Responsibilities:

Architectural Oversight & Evolution:

• Oversee the current .Net-based architecture of the Honeywell Labor Management System.
• Strategize and execute the transformation of the application onto Azure Native architecture.
• Lead the design and implementation of robust, scalable, and secure system architectures.

AI Integration & Module Development:

• Champion the integration of AI capabilities into the Labor Management System.
• Direct the development of AI modules, including attrition prediction, demand forecasting, workforce optimization, and others.
• Ensure the implementation of best practices in machine learning and AI to derive maximum business value.

Customer Engagement & Collaboration:

• Engage with customers to gather feedback, understand their evolving needs, and ensure system alignment with business objectives.
• Act as the technical lead during customer meetings, presenting architectural choices and solutions.
• Facilitate smooth customer onboarding, especially during migrations or system upgrades.

Cross-functional Leadership:

• Collaborate with development teams to ensure architectural standards are maintained in every phase of software development.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior architects and developers.
• Engage with stakeholders and other departments to ensure alignment of the Labor Management System with broader company objectives.

Innovation & Research:

• Stay updated with the latest technological trends and advancements, especially in the areas of .Net development, Azure, and AI.
• Propose and pilot new technologies or methodologies that can enhance the system's capabilities or performance.

You Must Have:

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in software architecture, with a strong focus on .Net technologies.
• Extensive experience with cloud architectures, preferably Azure.
• Hands-on experience in AI and machine learning integration.
• Proven track record in leading technical teams and projects.
• Strong customer-facing skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively.

We Value:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.
• 10 + years of experience in software architecture, with a strong focus on .Net technologies.
