Job Description

Join a team developing groundbreaking next generation inertial and alternative navigation products for GPS-denied environments, as well as autonomy products leveraging the latest advances in MEMS inertial sensing and machine learning technologies. 

You will work with a multi-disciplinary team of experts on pathfinding technology implementations for next generation products. Your expertise in these technologies along with your team contributions in agile environments will lead to success. Your ability to execute and collaborate in complex environments while advocating for your team with senior leadership and achieving aggressive milestones will pave the way for increased responsibility and advancement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for conducting research, development and demonstration of advanced technology that will result in new products
  • Responsible for developing new concepts and technologies, and showing that they work
  • Help drive growth as a technology expert through interfaces with internal and external customers and partners
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities that require quick adaptation

The salary range for this position is ($100,000 - $140,000). The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Graduate Degree in Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or Robotics
  • 0-2 years relevant experience
  • Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or have asylum or refugee status in the U.S.

WE VALUE

  • Supporting coursework or industry experience with Navigation technologies
  • High level programming skills (Python, C++, Matlab/Simulink)
  • Ability to solve complex problems through analysis and innovation
  • Experience with any combination of:
    • Filtering technologies: Kalman Filters, Particle Filters, Factor Graphs
    • Navigation or autonomy algorithms (Ex: Strapdown Navigation)
    • Dynamic systems or control systems (Ex: Aircraft or robotic motion simulation, control law design)
    • Embedded systems (Ex: NVIDIA Jetson series, FPGAs)
    • Sensors (EO/IR Cameras, LIDAR, Event Cameras, IMUs)
    • Robot Operating System (ROS)
  • Drive and motivation for career development

  • Open to taking on challenges
  • Thrives in a fast-paced dynamic environment
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work directly with sponsors and customers
