Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in using Splunk SPL.
• 2+ years Splunk 7/8 Administration on Linux in distributed Enterprise environment
• 1+ more years advanced shell scripting skills and python
• Ability to document installation procedures, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), etc
• Excellent oral and written communication
• Self-motivated, confident, and reliable
• Willing to work in a team-oriented environment with global team members
• Must be a problem solver with root cause analysis skills who brings solutions to the team

Responsibilities

• This position is for an experienced Splunk professional with subject matter expertise in logging, monitoring and Event Management
• Administration of Splunk including configuration and access management
• New log client on boarding
• Exploration of alternative logging solutions/technologies
• Create Splunk dashboards that ensure platform resilience, transparency, and availability across a big data ecosystem.
• Create scalable Splunk dashboards that align with key KPI's that move us closer to a purpose-built solution that leverages AI, predictive analytics and machine learning.
• Create Splunk dashboards that enable our platform support team to predict, identify and resolve problems within our ecosystem in a near real-time manner.
• Troubleshoot and mitigate problems in mission-critical systems by leveraging Splunk
• Works with development teams to identify improvements in our monitoring framework
