The position will involve creating software for world class, next generation disruptive systems and technologies. The selected candidate will work with the Disruptive Computing & Networks (DC&N) product team focused on the concept, requirements, architecture, design and development of a future system. Position Responsibilities:

  • Development and design of Web based UI solutions to deliver an intuitive user experience
  • Collaborate with users, technical, and architecture teams to solve complex user interface problems
  • Rapidly prototype UI interfaces to iteratively work with users on UI design
  • Advocate for modern designs and best practices that deliver value to our end users while considering ease of implementation and sustainment
  • Understand the capabilities, complexity, and limitations of technical architecture throughout the UI Development process
  • Provide critical support and independent review of the work of teammates

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options

This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
  • 4+ years of experience developing web-based applications
  • 3+ years of experience using Agile or SAFe methodology
  • Experience with the Software Development Lifecycle including (requirements analysis, design, code, integration, and test)
  • Experience with front-end programming languages (JavaScript, CSS, HTML, etc.)
  • Experience with a modern Java Script-based application front end framework such as React, Vue, or Angular
  • Experience with Web Development, APIs, and REST
  • Experience using team collaboration tools including Git, Bitbucket, JIRA, and Confluence

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience designing and developing web based UI applications
  • Experience in design thinking methodology in UI development
  • Linux OS experience
  • Active Top Secret SCI with CI Poly Security Clearance

Typical Education/Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: 112,200 – 151,800
