What you will do (day in the life):
Work on a critical knowledge sharing tool for the customer with real world applications. The tool that the team works on is high-visibility and supports critical analysis supporting the crucial NGA missions and across the broader Intelligence Community (IC). Your work will enable NGA analysts to model data in real-time and will help drive more informed and timely decisions in matters of national security.

Boeing Intelligence & Analytics (BI&A) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Scientist to join our team. The successful candidate will be a highly experienced and skilled data scientist with a passion for using data to solve real-world problems. They will have a deep understanding of data science principles and techniques, and be able to apply them to a variety of industries and domains. The candidate will also be an excellent communicator and collaborator, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

A Data Scientist on this team:

  • Identify trends and problems through complex big data analysis. This involves using a variety of techniques, such as statistical analysis, data mining, and machine learning, to extract insights from large and complex datasets.
  • Interpret results from multiple sources using a variety of techniques. This requires the ability to understand and evaluate the results of different analyses, and to identify patterns and correlations that may not be immediately obvious.
  • Design, develop and implement the most valuable solutions for the project. This involves working closely with stakeholders to understand their needs, and then using their data science skills to develop and deploy solutions that meet those needs.
  • Prepare big data, implement data models and develop database to support the business solutions. This requires expertise in big data technologies and database design.

Required Experience:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
  • Ability to initiate, supervise, and/or develop requirements for complex to extremely complex programs from inception to conclusion.
  • Performs highly specialized, technical tasks associated with current and cutting-edge technologies.
  • Recognized Industry Leader in their area of Expertise.

Required Education:

  • Master's degree in a related field (e.g., data science, statistics, computer science), or subject matter expert level work experience in the related labor category.
  • 12+ years of subject matter expert level work experience in the related labor category.

Summary Pay Range: Please note that the information shown below is a general guideline only. Pay is based upon experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
