The Boeing Global Services (BGS) Engineering has an exciting opportunity for an Business Intelligence Analyst (BI Analysis) to join our dynamic team in Hazelwood, MO to partner in the design of Business Intelligence information models, dashboards, metrics and reports utilizing standard technologies and methodologies that meet business objectives and solutions.

Position Responsibilities:

• Leads in designing complex Business Intelligence information models, dashboards, and metrics
• Reports utilizing standard technologies and methodologies that meet business objectives
• Assesses current technology and solutions for best fit and provide recommendations.
• Combines programming, SQL skills, best practices and business expertise to deliver efficient and scalable Business Intelligence solutions to improve business productivity and business outcomes
• Creates insightful dashboards, reports, KPIs leveraging enterprise standard tools like Tableau and Cognos in a format understood by the business.
• Integrate, Communicate, and Scale Solutions with Stakeholders: Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Safety, Supply Chain, HR, Finance, and Corporate.
• Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability.
• Performs analysis to identify and understand an issue or event. Investigates evident issues through drill-down exploration and descriptive statistics.

This is a hybrid position that allows some telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite in Hazelwood, MO.

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor’s degree in a computer, engineering or quantitative discipline (e.g., statistics, operations research, bioinformatics, economics, computational biology, computer science, mathematics, physics, electrical engineering, industrial engineering)
• Experience in data analytics and creating visualizations using data analytics tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools
• Knowledge in data analysis algorithms (e.g. data mining, statistics, visual analytics, classification, regression, clustering, sentiment analysis).
• Experience working with data in relational databases (Oracle, Teradata, SQL Server, SAP, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Aerospace/Manufacturing/Engineering or Information Technology industry experience is a plus
• Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to interface with executive leadership, enterprise workforce, and internal/external customers or partners.

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience, 13 years' related work experience, etc.).
