Join our Boeing Global Services Parts & Distribution Services and Supply Chain BI & Analytics team, dedicated to orchestrating a data-driven evolution within the organization. Your role will involve generating real-time insights to address intricate business challenges and fortify decision-making processes. Collaborate with BI Analysts, Data Scientists, and Product Managers, closely engaging with business stakeholders to craft solutions that contribute to The Boeing Company's commitment to delivering safer, superior, and more efficient airplanes and products.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Transforms data into insights that drive business value to our Supply Chain teams
  • Mines complex data using SAP HANA (BGS-Commercial), GOLD/MS2 (BGS-Government), Tableau (for visualizations) and Talend (for ETL)
  • Creates visualizations that communicate findings to others in the organization
  • Designs Business Intelligence information models, dashboards, KPI/metrics and reports utilizing standard data engineering and visualization technologies and methodologies that meet business objectives
  • Combines programming, SQL and analytical skills, best practices and business expertise to deliver efficient and scalable Business Intelligence solutions to improve business productivity and business outcomes
  • Identifies deficiencies (data quality issues) within the current data sets
  • Merge multiple datasets to create a data model
  • Develop problem statements for new opportunities
  • Provides regular status to various executive leaders from multiple function

This position is hybrid. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience working on teams and projects that involve cross-functional and/or cross-business domains with executive interface experience
  • 3+ years of experience in Supply Chain Sourcing, Supplier Management, and Supply Chain Planning
  • 3+ years of experience working with databases

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or closely related field
  • Direct experience in Aerospace business functions such as Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, etc.
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Infor, etc.)
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Shiny, PowerBI)
  • Project and Product Management knowledge/experience
  • Critical thinking, verbal and written communication skills

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience, 9 years' related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range: $88,400 - $127,650
