Boeing is looking for a Configuration and Data Management Technical Integrator for our Ridley Park, PA facility to support the Cargo (Chinook) and Utility (MH-139) programs. The employee will be an integral member of the Cargo and Utility Configuration Management team. Works under minimal guidance.
Position Responsibilities:
- Oversees and leads the development, analysis, management and compliance verification of process and product baselines of highly integrated complex products.
- Leads the definition and planning of comprehensive sets of product and subsystem level technical design reviews and audits for new and derivative products.
- Leads the analysis of complex product trades and/or changes and the development of change proposals.
- Leads the implementation of Configuration and Data Management standards, processes, systems and tools.
- Leads and directs the definition and allocation of Configuration Management and Data Management requirements for product hardware, software and engineering design data systems throughout the product lifecycle.
- Assures the integration of product elements; analyzes and resolves complex issues with engineering product structure. Leads and directs the development, integration and implementation of engineering technical program plans.
Security Clearance: This position does not require an active U.S. Security Clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
- 5+ years of experience working with PDM system (TeamCenter). experience at both the user level and working directly with engineering data housed within the PDM
Preferred Qualifications/Desired Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred.
- 5+ years’ experience with configuration management.
- Hands-on experience migrating data between PDM systems
- Can pull Bill of Material data for Aircrafts.
- Can support Functional Configuration Audits and execute Physical Configuration Audits
- Well versed in MIL-HDBK-61 and EIA-649-1
- Ability to write Configuration Management Plans and Configuration Audit Plans.
Typical Education/Experience:
- Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor +1 years' related work experience, 5 years' related work experience, etc.).
