In 2022, The Boeing Company reaffirmed its commitment to Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) with $8 Million investment through Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF), building on the partnership initially launched in 2018. This strategic investment is meant to help the company build the pipeline of technical talent through scholarships, experiential learning opportunities, high-touch collaboration, and career pathway opportunities for students including intern and entry level hiring. Boeing Analytics is looking for talented and motivated students to assist in delivering best-in-class technological solutions to our business, our partners, and our customers. During the Summer Intern Program, you will be assigned projects that expand on the skills you have developed at school. This summer experience engages each intern in challenging and meaningful work that goes beyond the job. Opportunities are offered in a variety of disciplines including Data Science, Data Analytics, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Software.

At Boeing Digital Aviation Solutions (DAS) you will create advanced digital and data solutions that drive the future evolution of software for the aviation industry and align with Boeing’s vision to connect, protect, and inspire the world through aerospace innovation. Our mission-critical applications enable our customers to transform and optimize the way they do business through delivering data insights and solutions to optimize all areas of the flight ecosystem and operations including safety, environmental sustainability, and efficiency. Boeing is leading the digital revolution, building on our heritage of innovation and deep aviation expertise – using agile digital technology, we create, innovate, and deliver digital aviation solutions fast, challenging the way things have always been done, piloting new ways of working, and delivering a competitive advantage in the market through our diverse, global teams. Interns in Digital Aviation Solutions have had opportunities to work with virtual reality, software development, artificial intelligence, and other software platforms. 

Boeing Global Real Estate and Facilities (GREF) is responsible for the Maintenance of Boeing buildings and infrastructure including project implementation, construction services and employee moves.

Available opportunities include:

  • Project Administrator / Construction Management - Receives, validates, and logs customer requests for facilities services such as construction, rearrangements, moves and asset acquisition. Meets with customers, evaluates requests, provides tactical plans, defines requirements, and identifies design options.
  • Planner - Compiles data from headcount projections and business plans to enable forecasting. Manages site assets cost efficiently to meet production and operational needs. In advance of production changes, oversees the development of scenarios - showing scopes, schedule, and budget alternatives. Develops and communicates proposals to stakeholders.

Boeing Manufacturing and Operations. Boeing is looking for passionate, motivated students to join our team this summer. During this internship, you’ll work with your leader to develop assignments that expand on your current skills and enhance your professional development.

Boeing Program Management / Integrated Planning and Scheduling (PM / IP&S). As an Intern in our Integrated Planning and Scheduling organization, you will assist in the preparation, coordination, scheduling and change management activities of maintaining an integrated plan to drive positive program performance. Participate in maintaining, analyzing, and producing metrics related to plans. Assist more experienced personnel with risk assessments, developing mitigation plan, and refining the business case. Experiences can include gathering, organizing, and providing data to maintain status of programs, schedule, customer and supplier commitments and compliance, and support the coordination and communication to ensure commitment to stakeholders. PM/IP&S offers internship opportunities in several locations in Boeing Defense, Space and Security, and Boeing Global Services.

Boeing Supply Chain Management offers internship opportunities across one of the world's most complex supply chain organizations. These opportunities span throughout Boeing's Business Units: Commercial Airplanes; Defense, Space and Security; Boeing Global Services; Boeing Capital Corporation; and Corporate. The Boeing Business Internship Program - Quality Specialist offers opportunities to partner with and lead cross-functional business units to protect the integrity of products and processes, effectively ensuring that every product and service meets quality and regulatory requirements.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Currently an enrolled student attending a college or university with an expected graduation date after July 31, 2024
  • Ability to work full-time for 10-12 weeks during the summer
  • Current enrolled at a Historically Black College and University

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Passion for the aerospace industry and interest and enthusiasm for a career at Boeing

Academic excellence (GPA of 3.0 or higher)

  • Previous business or related internships or work experience and/or involvement with student or civic organizations
  • Majoring in one of the following: Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Project Management, Finance, Information Systems, International Business, International Relations, Global Studies, Finance, Political Science, Business Administration, or related field of study
  • MBA Candidates or Masters in related disciplines preferred for strategy roles
  • The ability to telecommute
  • The ability to relocate and work onsite

Safety Sensitive:

Some of these positions are safety sensitive positions and may be subject to random drug and alcohol testing

NASA Access:

Some of these positions require the ability to obtain access to a National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) facility.

Relocation:

Some of these positions offer relocation based on eligibility.
