Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an Experienced Data Scientist to support our business in Mesa, AZ or Hazelwood, MO or Ridley Park, PA. This organization supports BGS-Government Planning and the data analyst will apply statistical and other analytics techniques to assist with producing recommendations within the fast pace environment of aerospace.

A successful candidate will understand the importance of data analytics as these positions will focus on working directly with the demand planning, new business, and the Asset management team to perform statistical and mathematical data analysis to enable the BGS business to meet their organizational goals.

Position Responsibilities:

• Work with business unit stakeholders to develop and sustain analytics solutions
• Conducts evaluation, validation and continuous performance monitoring of supported applications, models and analyses
• Helps with setup of data and modeling pipelines
• Exercises critical thinking and innovative problem solving
• Experience in SQL coding
• Champions culture of quality, learning, trust, and collaborative energy
• Performs defined data analytics tasks to meet business objectives
• Assess performance of models and analysis and confirm that business objectives were met
• Design and create new algorithms for the analysis of data to address project requirements
• Evaluate the performance of data analysis algorithms
• Adaptable, able to work in a constant change and fast paced environment

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at Mesa, AZ or Hazelwood, MO or Ridley Park, PA. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Data analytics
• Experience using or applying statistical and mathematical concepts to measure performance against projects to ensure a high-quality delivery

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor's degree or higher
• Great communication skills, and a motivation to achieve results in a fast-paced production environment, juggle multiple high-priority projects at once
• Programming experience in Python
• Experience with statistical software (e.g., R) and database languages (e.g., SQL).
• Strong team player and passion to execute projects with a focus on customer and value
• Bachelors or Master’s in a computer science, economics, quantitative finance, operations research, statistics, mathematics, or related field of engineering
• Demand forecasting and/or data simulation experience

Typical Education/Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master, 6 year's related work experience, etc.).

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $90,950 - $123,050
