Job Description
Our team has an immediate permanent opening for a Staff Research Scientist.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting high-quality research in the topics of foundation models, continual learning, multi-task / transfer learning, offline RL, and etc.;
- Developing prototype applications in autonomous driving and other complex real-world optimization problems.
What you’ll bring to the team:
- PhD in Computer Science or related fields with a focus on reinforcement learning & decision making.
- Papers at relevant conferences such as NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, AAAI, IJCAI, AAMAS, ICRA, RSS, etc.
- In-depth hands-on experience in Python, C/C++, R, Julia, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, etc. and a track record of translating ideas into research prototypes quickly.
- Working or internship experience at industry research labs or technology companies is an asset.
- Experience building large scale machine learning solutions for decision making, planning, reasoning, autonomous driving, operations research, or multi-agent systems.
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years of relevant working experience.
