Job Description

The Central Media Technology Institute of the Laboratory in 2012 is Huawei's media technology innovation and engineering capability center, responsible for the technical competitiveness of products in the media field. Faced with the challenges and opportunities of customers, industry and company's future business, it will continue to focus on technological research, innovation and breakthroughs in the media field (photography, audio, video, AR&VR, codec standards etc.) to ensure that the company's core competitiveness of media products continues to lead and support the company's long-term business success.

The Central Media Technology Institute has set up R&D centers and professional laboratories in seven overseas countries such as Japan, North America and Europe, as well as domestic R&D centers in Shenzhen, Hangzhou, Beijing, Shanghai, Xi'an, etc. In the field of mobile phone photography, audio, video, AR&VR, codec standards and other technology, Huawei is in the leading position in the industry, supporting Huawei to become the leader of mobile devices and ICT industry.

The recruitment of the Central Media Technology Institute involves mobile phone photography, audio, video, AR&VR and other media fields. We are gathering the world-recognized researchers, pioneers and explorers in the field from the top-tier academic and industrial organizations.

Ideally you have worked on rendering related development/research for more than 10 years and have contributed influential products or research in graphics community. And you are still passionate in researching/developing new computer graphics or media generation technologies and would like to promote your impact to?new?levels through your achievements on Huawei’s unique all-stack (devices, cloud, connection, and chipsets) product tlines.

Responsibilities:

• Research and design graphics algorithms and systems.
• Leading a research and development team to deliver cutting-edge graphics technology to Huawei devices, cloud, and chipsets products.

Qualifications

• PHD degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• 10+ years? computer graphics related development or research experience.
• Profound background and knowledge on real-time rendering topics (lighting, shading, shadows, global illumination, post-processing, etc.) and neural rendering techniques.
• Experience researching, developing and optimizing rendering techniques & systems on multiple platforms.
• Ability to architect, program and optimize C/C++ in new systems.
• Technical demos and academic publications on first-tier?conferences/journals such as SIGGGRAPH/SIGGRAPH ASIA/TVCG/NeurIPS/CVPR.
• Stay up to date on the latest academic advances & industry trends.
• A highly collaborative spirit + excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
• Motivation to find solutions to real world problems for Huawei’s all-stack (devices, cloud, connection, and chipsets) products. ?
• Excellent leadership and influencing skills
