Job Description

As a Chief Architect of Intelligent Metadata, you will have a range of responsibilities including:

• Responsibility for intelligent metadata management policies and planning based on the plans of product division strategy.
• Predict the development trend of IT systems and storage systems in the industry, think about and analyze the development trend of intelligent metadata management, and prepare for the intelligent index solution required by the product in the future.
• Analyze the implementation of Huawei storage products to find out scenarios where intelligent metadata can be used. Work with the technical supervisor to form a plan and design, and implement the plan and design in product projects or technical projects.
• Analyze storage application scenarios, figure out scenarios where intelligent metadata is used in the storage collaboration system, and propose corresponding planning and design.

Qualifications

• Deep machine learning knowledge and application experience, have a deep understanding of various machine learning algorithms, and be able to deeply understand application scenarios and select appropriate solutions and algorithms.
• Have experience in applying machine learning to data structure improvement and optimization. Experience in improving data structures to support complex query and high-dimensional data retrieval is preferred.
• Deep experience in balancing algorithm computing power requirements and algorithm effect, and be able to well balance factors such as software and hardware requirements and costs of algorithms.
• Have general knowledge of the features of new storage media, such as nonvolatile memory (NVM). Have a basic command of the data structure design for new storage media.
• Be familiar with new protocols and mechanisms such as RDMA and the design of optimized data structures such as RDMA.
• Deep expertise on storage applications (such as high-performance computing and databases) and their requirements on metadata.
• More than 10 years of experience in IT and more than 5 years of experience in machine learning.
• Experience in designing and developing complex data structures.
• Be familiar with the metadata design of the storage system, new media, and protocol.
• Have an in-depth understanding of the impact of algorithms and data structures on system software and hardware and their requirements.
