About the team:

Our team is doing research?on various state-of-the-art technologies on Machine Learning for Computer Vision and Graphics. We have many projects targeting Huawei’s AI chipset, and they are all collaborating with the production team to apply to Huawei’s new products. Responsibilities:

• Research and development on deep learning-based AI algorithms and applications
• Integrate advanced deep learning/machine learning/computer vision/graphics algorithms into prototype systems or products
• Work closely with R&D groups to implement end-to-end technical solutions

Qualifications

• Have obtained a Master’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related fields
• Proficient with deep learning frameworks and toolkits (e.g. Tensorflow, Keras, PyTorch)
• Deep understanding of fundamental deep learning architectures, such as CNN, RNN, GAN etc.
• Practical experiences with image/video training data pre-processing
• Proficient in Python and with the Numpy library
• Experience in training and applying machine learning models to applications
• Ability to scope and schedule deliverables independently, and be accountable for performance and delivery

Nice to have:

• Demonstrated experience with projects related to one or more of the following: 3D reconstruction, 2D/3D detection, segmentation, meta-learning, domain adaptation, gesture recognition or action prediction
• Ph.D. degree and/or publications in academic journals or conferences in one of the following domains: deep learning, computer vision, multimedia, graphics, image processing or human-machine interaction
• Experience with at least one graphics APIs (e.g., OpenGL) or experience in game development with 3D engines (e.g., Unreal, Unity)
• Skilled in C/C++ and experience in object-oriented design and implementation
