Job Description
Our team has an immediate 8-month co-op opening for a Researcher.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with senior team members on one or more upcoming projects involving resource management and network performance analysis for mobile communication networks
- Create, improve, and use ML frameworks and algorithms
- Perform simulations to test developed frameworks in Python or Matlab
Job requirements
What you’ll bring to the team:
- Currently enrolled in a university co-op program in a relevant field: Software Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering or related area
- Excellent knowledge of ML/AI with emphasis on deep reinforcement learning and neural networks
- Excellent knowledge of programming in Python
- Excellent knowledge in one of the following deep learning libraries: Tensorflow, Keras or Pytorch
- Knowledge of split learning and federated learning, understanding of wireless technologies (4G & 5G), experience in system simulations and performance analysis (e.g. communication network simulations) is an asset
