Huawei Canada’s Research Center excels in general IC (integrated circuits) as well as telecom and cloud network infrastructure, including 4G, 5G, optical, microwave, switch/router technology, high-speed SerDes, ARM, RISC-V processors, and fully custom ASICs.

IC lab in Huawei Canada is seeking for an individual to join our team and contribute to Collaboration development & Technology planning aspects of IC lab’s efforts.

What you?ll do:

As a member of the IC lab, you will explore technological resources (in Canada) that span various market segments.

Our current collaborations explore a wide range of areas, including:

• Wireless (4G, 5/6G). and short-range wireless (Bluetooth, Wifi).
• Opto-electronics (materials, antenna, OE conversion/integration).
• Computing (CPU, GPU, FPGA)
• AI/ML (CV, CAD/EDA, Network)
• Consumer devices, telco/cloud server, router/switch
• IC Designing/Implementation/Manufacturing solutions

The successful applicant will collect the information about Canadian technological resources & explore new ones. This may include all of the above areas, but would certainly not be limited to the above.You will be writing technical documentation in English and Mandarin.

Qualifications

What we?d like you to have:

• Fluent in English and Chinese (both speaking and writing)
• Expertise in micro-electronics (designing, implementing or manufacturing integrated circuits)
• General understanding of wide areas of technologies
• Strong communication skills are required.
