Job Description

Research in the area of network automation responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluation of state of the art network automation systems, and solving challenging technical problems.

• Deep insight into the technical trends of computer networking systems, software-defined networking, and programmable network components.
• The ability to design and implement new paradigms architectures, protocols, and work with other team members to develop, test, and evaluate the solutions.
• Familiarity with machine learning tools and the ability to use ML in solving complex systems and networking problems.
• The ability to give technical presentations to advocate for novel technologies developed by the team..
• Communicate and collaborate with other researchers in network automation team, and researchers in next generation IP.

Qualifications

• Ability to define and solve challenging problems and help develop solutions related to future network architectures, protocols, and systems
• More than 5 years of research experience in academia or industry.
• Have deep understanding about SDN , NFV, and experience with bench marking and evaluating network systems.
• Experience with machine learning tools/techniques
• Proficient in?C/C++/Java/Python,Openstack/OpenDayLight/,TCP/IP
• Research experience in the area of computer systems and computer networks, SDN, network protocols, measurements
• The ability to manage multiple tasks and work towards long-term goals
• Understanding of one or more of the following technologies:

1. Router and switches architecture;
2. data center and data center networking;
3. virtualization/cloud technologies;
4. software defined networking or NFV;
5. AI technology to optimize network;
6. Congestion control and lossless network;
