Job Description

• Participate in applied research projects in Huawei

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a university and registered with school’s co-op program
• Experience in machine learning and deep learning with such libraries as TensorFlow or PyTorch (background and interest in machine translation a definite asset);
• You should be curious, like to think outside the box and appreciate complex challenges. Being outside of your comfort zone doesn't throw you off;
• Being familiar with compression/optimization/AutoML techniques would be a plus.?
• Understanding Neural Machine Translation or ASR systems would be a plus.
• Academic experience in machine / deep learning.
• Having a strong mathematics or statistics background is a plus.
• Experience with Git and code reviews;
• Expertise in NLP or speech processing using machine learning or deep learning
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask.
• Ability to lead a project or to work well as part of a team.
