Job Description
Our team has an immediate 8-month co-op opening for a Researcher.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to design and develop novel distributed learning algorithms
- Contribute to research on using AI for network resource allocation and network operation optimization in wireless networks using Slicing
- Participate in team-wide activities such as, technical discussions and code reviews
- Write technical reports and contribute to preparation of scientific publications
- Assist with preparing presentations in internal meetings
- Protect IP when novel methods are developed
Job requirements
What you’ll bring to the team:
- Currently enrolled in a university co-op program in a relevant field: Software Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering or related area
- Familiarity with one of the following: distributed learning methods, reinforcement learning, deep learning
- Excellent knowledge of programming in Python
- Optimization theory knowledge is an asset
- Wireless networks knowledge is an asset
