The Central Media Technology Institute is hiring an AI Research Engineer for Huawei Canada's graphics engine team.?You will contribute to delivering state of the art graphics technologies for Huawei’s all-stack products of devices, cloud, connection, chipsets, and global developer community. You will have the opportunity to work closely with world-class researchers/engineers and transfer your intelligence to applications with hundreds of millions of users.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Research Scientists to research and develop computer graphics algorithms and interactive media applications, including 3D geometry modelling, digital human modeling and animation (expressive 3D avatars), texture rendering, scene simulation and synthesis.
• Integrate advanced deep models and cross-domain into prototype systems for Huawei terminal devices, cloud, and chipsets.
• Work closely with R&D groups to implement end-to-end technical solutions.

Qualifications

• Obtained or in pursuit of a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Demonstrated experience with projects related to computer graphics, vision, or machine learning.?
• Skilled in C/C++ and experience in object-oriented design and implementation.
• Experience with deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Energetic, self-motivated and excellent communication skills.
