Job Description

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Carry out analyzes on the different performance levers

  • Regular monitoring of cross-category and cross-client performance based on KPIs (topline, market share, profitability, promotional monitoring)
  • Conduct mix analyzes (format/customer/category/technologies) with the SMM (shopper marketing manager)
  • Involvement in the analysis of promotional highlights and the profitability of promotions based on sell out data
  • Generating actionable data-driven insights, building impactful data visualizations to power your analyzes and presentations, and communicating to different stakeholders

Update, optimize and distribute monthly reports which allow the monitoring of promotional budgets and the management of promotional activity

  • Ensure fair monitoring of budgets for the category and the brand
  • Support teams in the adoption of reporting based on new technologies (Power BI, predictive models, etc.)
  • Close collaboration with CSPs (category strategy & planning) on ​​promotional analyzes

Co-responsible for the adoption, evolution and change management of the performance management tool

  • Continuous improvement of existing tools and management of developments with service providers
  • Independent management of the assortment tool with Category Managers
  • Data reliability referent in the assortment tool
  • Involvement in the launch of new tools with European teams
  • Active role in different communities of practice
  • Participate in the digitalization of Unilever and the dissemination of a data driven culture

III –COMPLEXITE

  • Significant complexity linked to the scope (Turnover = €2.3 billion; 5 Business Units; omnichannel)
  • Supporting teams in analysis and decision-making based on data
  • Role exposed to Business Units and all cross-functional functions

IV – RELATIONAL UNIVERSE

  • Internal :
    • Integrated into a cross-functional Data & Analytics team in France (performance management expertise, execution, pricing/Net Revenue Management) made up of Business analysts, Data analysts and Data engineers
    • Collaboration with a D&A Europe team on new products and reinforced in areas of data engineering/data science
    • Relationship with the Finance, Sales, Marketing, CMI and Field teams
  • External:
    • Tool providers

V – DESIRED PROFILE

  • From a business school, engineering school, or leading university, you benefit from initial experience as a Business Analyst or in an analytical field in the FMCG/Retail sector (>2 years)
  • You like challenges, teamwork, demonstrate good analytical skills, and are very well organized.
  • You are able to understand various business issues and issues, and are able to adapt your analyzes to business needs
  • Autonomous in your work, you demonstrate good abilities to synthesize your insights
  • You are able to render your analyzes in an impactful way (visualization and communication)
  • Very good command of Excel
  • Knowledge of Power BI desired
  • Fluent English
