Compre Now is a B2B Marketplace focused on improving and digitizing the supply experience of retailers throughout Argentina, allowing them to buy a wide variety of products and brands online. Compre Ahora is a digital company that already has a presence in Brazil, Chile and Spain, among other countries, and that will continue to expand, digitally transforming the route to the retailer.

Our Data team is embarking on an incredible journey, and is looking for a performance-oriented Data Scientist profile, to Analyze, detect opportunities and make decisions based on data, with the aim of maximizing the impact of the actions and generate continuous improvement of business initiatives. 

What is expected of this position?

• Drive data-driven decision making: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to understand business needs and translate them into clear analytical problems. Use data analytics and machine learning techniques to provide actionable insights to support decision making.
• Apply knowledge of data extraction and manipulation to use databases to generate dashboards and automate information to contribute to decision making.

What requirements/skills are necessary for this position?

• Technical proficiency and knowledge such as: SQL, Python, R (desired) and predictive models.
• Have knowledge of visualization tools, such as Tableau, Looker or PowerBI.
• Have experience in managing, manipulating and analyzing large volumes of information.
