Your Role

The North America business is a €330m with a market leading position in the cotton swobs with the Q-tips brand and competitive portfolios in the Skin Cleansing and Hair Care categories through Caress, Noxzema, Lever 2000, Tigi Bedhead and Alberto European.You will be the Commercials Finance Partner to a commercial savvy and empowered Marketing & Sales team responsible for the development and execution of brand strategies and customer plans to drive growth and value creations within Elida Beauty.The role reports to Elida North America CFO and will be based out of Dallas, TX.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Financial PlanningYou will lead the market financial planning process across the, translating the business strategy into a financial target framework and alignment with the group financial plan and operationalization of this through Sales & Operational Planning 
  • Performance Management: Lead performance reviews at lead team level, advising on the financial trade-offs to deliver the Financial plan. In doing so you will provide expertise and support in managing risks, taking unstructured business decisions, and flagging key issues/opportunities to promote accountability
  • Innovation & Customer Planning: Decision support for key investment decisions within Innovation and customer joint busines planning
  • Pricing & Promotions: Lead workstreams and business processes to drive promotional effectiveness and identify strategic/cost recovery pricing to protect and grow margins
  • Budget Management & Control: Responsible for the budgeting and controlling BMI spend and marketing/sales overheads
  • Democratize Data: At Elida Beauty Finance teams will not be “data providers”, commercial teams will take full accountability for their P&L enabled through timely, accuracy and accessible data. You will be a key enabler for this and a leader for the commercial mindset required across the business.
  • Agile Partnering: the role will flex as needed to partner across all Functions to drive value-add activities and projects – as dictated by business priorities.

Requirements

Must have:

  • Prior experience in commercial finance roles
  • Proven ability to partner and influence business strategy
  • Experience in core financial controlling and budgetary control
  • Proven ability to innovate and manage change

Nice to Have:

  • Experience of building and leading teams
  • Experience in CPG industry
  • Experience of working in Private Equity stakeholder model
  • Experience in data science and complex data modelling

Work Level 2B: Pay: The pay range for this position is $110,700 to $166,000. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs. Bonus: This position is bonus eligible. Long-Term Incentive (LTI): This position is LTI eligible. Benefits: Unilever employees are eligible to participate in our benefits plan.
