This Data & Analytics function endeavours to create clear accountabilities for all aspects of Data Strategy, Data Management, Information Management, Analytics, and Insights. We would be accountable for impact of solutions, maintaining market relevance and minimising unnecessary overlaps in analytics products, ensuring simplicity and that our solutions better meet the needs of our users.

We would partner with the Digital and Data Legal Counsel to ensure that our Data Defence (Privacy, Governance, Quality, etc) is well structured and sufficiently robust to use data and AI correctly throughout the enterprise. We would democratize information across the business, while supporting the culture shift required for data driven decision making. Further, this team would drive capacity unlock from manual and duplicative reporting capabilities, while also refocusing a portion of the unlock on embedding predictive and prescriptive analytics capabilities into our highest potential opportunities.

Main Purpose of the Job:

Lead the Product management for Sales & Operations planning. The Product manager will manage the full lifecycle of data and analytics products in this space, working collaboratively to define the product roadmaps, unlocking value from analytical products, leading the products designs, costing of delivery, managing delivery, deployment and ongoing upgrades and improvements.

The product will also lead the integration of product available across Unilever in the Sales & Operation planning with focus on FEU (forecast Engine Utility), Jarvis, Customer Connectivity, Kinaxis & ACTPM.

Key accountabilities:

  • Engage with the Planning excellence, iOPS design authority, BU & BG teams to define requirements and capabilities.
  • Develop and provide new solutions to enhance the FEU product in the form of data science, data integration and ML OPs
  • Setup up and lead pilots and experiments to improve forecasting performance and scope
  • Industrialise and automate model build and run
  • Design and lead integration builds and testing
  • Manage planning and deployment of vendor partners.
  • Manage design, build and run budgets
  • Manage forecast run performance to achieve forecast accuracy, bias and no touch adoption targets
  • Track and communicate deployment and run performance of FEU

Experience and qualifications required:

Essential:

  • Strong Business Partnering capability and experience with ability to engage & influence senior leadership.
  • Ability to communicate complex analytic and data science solution to non-tech audience & senior management.
  • Strong knowledge & experience of Tech Delivery, Operating models and Operations setup
  • Data Science, Machine Learning and Analytics
  • Strong knowledge of technology platforms to deploy at speed and scale
  • Supply Chain process knowledge
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills to build trust and support with stakeholders
  • Strong Business Partnering capability and experience.
  • Experience of delivering projects and working with multiple business teams and stakeholders
  • Global Project Management, Budgeting and Tracking
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience of delivering End to end Data and Analytics global projects 
  • Ability to lead in a complex ambiguous environment
