Role Profile

If you are a skilled and innovative Azure Technical Solution Architect with a deep understanding of cloud technologies and a passion for designing cutting-edge solutions, then we have an exciting opportunity for you!

As an Azure Technical Solution Architect, you will play a critical role in shaping and implementing our organization's cloud strategy using Microsoft Azure. Your primary responsibility will be to lead the design and development of robust, scalable, and secure solutions that align with business objectives and leverage the full potential of Azure services.

Key Accountabilities

• Solution Design: Collaborate with stakeholders, business analysts, and development teams to understand project requirements and translate them into scalable and secure Azure-based solution designs.
• Azure Expertise with Governance: Demonstrate expert-level knowledge and hands-on experience with Azure Cloud services, including Azure Infrastructure, Storage, Security, and PaaS offerings. Provide guidance and recommendations on leveraging Azure services effectively. Expert with troubleshooting, code reviews, and performance optimization.
• Architecture Development: Develop solution architectures, technical roadmaps, and implementation plans that align with industry best practices, scalability, performance, security, and cost optimization principles.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, operations, security, and project management, to ensure successful solution delivery and adherence to architectural standards.
•  Industry Trends and Best Practices: Stay up to date with the latest Azure cloud technologies, industry trends, and best practices, and advocate for their adoption within the organization.
•  Documentation and Presentations: Create high-quality technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, solution designs, and guidelines. Conduct presentations to communicate architectural decisions to stakeholders effectively.

Estimating and budget the costs associated with building, maintaining, and operating a product’s technology infrastructure, including hardware, software, and networking resources.

Essential Experience

• Minimum 4+ years of experience as a Solution Lead cum Architect, with a focus on Azure Cloud.
• Sound expertise in designing and implementing Azure-based Data and Analytical solutions, including PaaS offerings such as Azure Data bricks, Azure data factory, Azure Synapse, Serverless architecture, Azure analysis services, Function apps, Logic apps, Storage, Key vaults, Security.
• Proven experience in architecting , governing and delivering small/medium scale, complex cloud solutions using Azure services.
• Strong understanding of cloud computing principles, microservices architecture, DevOps practices, and modern software development methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of Data engineering principles for efficient code and solution design
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to assess complex business requirements and provide innovative solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Basic knowledge of Power BI, Performance and optimization of products

Desirable Experience

• Azure certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure DevOps Engineer, or related certifications
•  Familiarity with cloud migration strategies, tools, and best practices, with hands-on experience in migrating applications and infrastructure to Azure.
• Optimize infrastructure costs on the Azure cloud, identify opportunities for resource consolidation, right-sizing, and implementing cost-effective solutions.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of existing systems and applications hosted on Azure, identifying performance bottlenecks, and recommending architectural improvements to enhance overall efficiency and responsiveness.
• Collaborate with data science teams to design and integrate Azure-based data solutions, enabling advanced analytics, machine learning, and data-driven decision-making across the organization.
• Expertise in Power BI to develop interactive and insightful data visualizations, empowering stakeholders to gain valuable insights from complex datasets.
