Job Description

The dCommerce team is the interface between Marketing, Digital & Media and CSP (Customer Strategy & Planning). This team defines the dCommerce strategy and drives the perfect execution via portfolio & content building (with Marketing), performance marketing activities planning (with Media), and new business models development.

This role willanchor dCommerce analytics agenda for the BUand generate end-to-end view of dCommerce performance, to continuously optimize the path-to-purchase. They will provide insights at item level profitability, market basket analysis, sales velocity, evaluation of promotional & merchandising activities, ROAS analysis, share of search, and more.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collecting, cleaning, querying, and analysing large amounts of customer data.
  • Apply data mining, quantitative analysis, and statistics to understand shopping behaviour, diagnose sales performance and growth opportunities.
  • Leverage multiple sources of data (category, shopper behaviour, baskets)to develop reliable, actionable insights.
  • Lead, define and implement approaches to optimize shopperdiscovery, selection, and conversion, defining points of friction for optimisation.
  • Evolve and manage the design, development, and maintenance of metrics, reports, and dashboards to drive key business decisions and ensure that KPIs are being met.
  • Generate E2E view of dCommerceperformance and take steps to optimize returns.
  • Support organisational upskilling: drive best in class capabilities and help to build a data-driven decisions culture.

ALL ABOUT YOU

  • Understanding of the dCommlandscape, channels, and emerging business models such as rapid delivery.
  • Data Science & Data Literacy.
  • Data Engineering.
  • Solution Architecture & Design.
  • Intelligent Automation. 
  • Proven commercial experience developing a wide range of Data Science/ML/predictive models. 
  • Proficient in advanced statistical analysis/modelling tools.
  • Proficient in collecting, cleaning, querying, and analysing large amounts of customer data.
  • Well-versed in an array of ML algorithms/techniques (i.e., decision tree etc.). 
  • Strong dashboarding/reporting skills using BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau etc. 
  • Proven commercial experience designing & analysing statistical tests (i.e., A/B, hypothesis).
  • Strong verbal/written COMMs, negotiation, and presentation skills across the business. 
  • Experience in leveraging data & analytics to improve the customer experience.
  • Multi-country experience is a plus.

Location?

In September 2020, Unilever announced the intention to build a new sustainable campus site in Kingston, London to house the employees who currently work in 100 Victoria Embankment in Blackfriars, Lever House in Kingston, Unilever House in Leatherhead and Graze in Richmond. We are creating our own Unilever sustainable, agile work environment, purposefully bringing us together in our own Unilever ecosystem. The campus is due to be completed in early 2025 and will consist of two interconnected buildings, as well as landscaped surrounding areas.?
