Main activities:

  • Demonstrate leadership and initiative when driving the Data Science agenda for the South America region, collaborating with teams from different areas to solve business challenges;
  • Cultivate a questioning approach, nurturing a passion for data and striving to explore possibilities to provide solutions that meet identified needs;
  • Foster effective interpersonal relationships, promoting the adoption of a Data Driven mentality within the organization;
  • Collect, organize, model and validate data, regardless of its structure, for the purposes of analyzing and training Machine Learning models;
  • Perform descriptive, predictive and prescriptive analyzes according to the requirements of each project, combining business knowledge with the proposed solution;
  • Automate analytical processes and create statistical models using tools such as R, Python and their respective libraries;
  • Identify and explore public data sources or external providers necessary to respond to hypotheses under discussion;
  • Lead a direct employee and support their development.

Profile/Prerequisites

  • Complete higher education in Statistics , Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Economics or related areas;
  • Deep knowledge of Statistics, with the ability to explain the results obtained in detail;
  • Experience in handling data, both structured and unstructured;
  • Proficiency in SQL.
  • Competence in languages ​​such as Python, R, SAS and Scala.
  • Experience with Machine Learning models.
  • Intermediate knowledge in data visualization, especially in Power BI.
  • Intermediate/advanced English
  • Mastery of the Office Package, with advanced Excel.
  • Availability to attend the office once a week (São Paulo)

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, proposing innovative technical and strategic solutions.
  • Participate in the company's strategic decisions.
  • Develop creative solutions involving big data and machine learning.
  • Contribute positively to the company's results and customer experience.
  • Clearly communicate the actions that must be implemented at all levels of the organization.
