TheAssoc. Data Engineer– Data Science roleis responsible for thedata processing, preparation, and delivery of multiple data setsto several internal databases.Unilever believes that data availability and accuracy is one of the great unlocks for growth. Along with that we need to use data in new and interesting ways to develop our teams for tomorrow’s ambitions. You’ll also be responsible for the weekly validation of data ensuring accurate and on-time reporting to the sector. The ideal candidate has a minimum of1year of experienceworkingwiththeMS Azure platform+ components andis continually able to stay up to date with the latest technology. They must also have a working knowledge of various statistical models and their application within a CPG retailing framework. As well as have the ability to explain brilliantly the methods and results, demystifying the process to internal and external stakeholders.

• Transformand analyzelarge volumes of data, combining customer and consumer data, as well as many other 3P data sources

• Create and maintain data pipelinesto deliver highly accurateandcompletedata sets on a weekly and/ordaily basis
• Deliver actionable insights to help decision making via visual reporting platforms in collaboration withthe sector’s many cross-functional teams
• Management of the data flow and architecture for thedatadeliveryas it relates to thesector’s businessreporting needs
• Developing the skills and talent to stay ahead of the competition providing value and consistency to the customer over time
• Helping lead change management for team

?What You’ll NeedtoSucceed:

• Bachelor’s Degree required
• Ability toanalyzelarge and complex data sets with proven experience in delivering recommendations to senior stakeholders

• Experience building, maintaining, improving data flows and database connectivity for the team
• Strongbackground inskills in the likesofPython,Spark, SQL or similar softwareand languages
• Data driven with a strong commercial acumen
• Strong communication skills
• Understanding of retail & shopping landscape and experience working directly with customers
