What awaits you?

• You support the implementation and operation of AI products and services, either in the areas of computer vision, generative AI or general NLP as well as conversational AI or other ML / DL application areas.
• You support the application of language models and deep learning methods (e.g. embeddings, transformers, CNNs, autoencoders, encoder-decoders, etc.).
• Together with an international team of AI experts, software and cloud engineers, you implement prototypes as well as productive applications.
• To successfully implement the requirements, you will also work proactively with BMW IT departments and departments.
• You support the evaluation of new AI methods and tools. The team is always open to your innovative ideas and motivates you to test them.

What are you bringing with you?

• Degree in computer science, business informatics, mathematics, physics or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of practical experience in an area of ​​artificial intelligence and machine learning (e.g. NLP, computer vision, acoustics analytics).
• Experience in the field of simulation (especially FEM simulation).
• Methodological knowledge from the areas of computer vision (segmentation, classification, synthetic data, SOTA deep learning methods such as CNNs or GANs) or NLP (e.g. conversational AI, chatbots, syntactic analysis, named entity recognition, text and relation classification, text clustering, embeddings, transformer- based approaches).
• Sound experience with the programming languages ​​Python and Java or Scala.
• Experience with native cloud services (especially on AWS, Azure) and their best practices.
• Fluent English and good German skills.
