We, the BMW Group, offer you an exciting and varied internship in the field of data analytics of modern driver assistance and active safety systems such as distance control, lane change, steering and lane keeping, parking maneuver assistants through to highly automated driving.

What awaits you?

• As part of your work as an intern, you will support us in strategy and product development for automated driving.
• You independently analyze customer data in our Big Data Frameworks.
• You implement machine learning approaches to improve data analysis and/or to develop modern functional concepts.
• You design interactive dashboards to monitor the function of our driver assistance systems in the field.
• You support the further development of processes, methods and tools for data analysis.

what do you bring

• Studies in economics, engineering, data analytics / science or a comparable course.
• Basic knowledge of statistics.
• Hands-on experience working with Python.
• Ideally knowledge of cloud computing (AWS), cluster computing (Spark), business intelligence tools (Tableau).
• Team and communication skills as well as analytical thinking skills.
