We, the BMW Group, offer you an exciting and varied working student job in the field of research and development of driver assistance systems.

Our team coordinates Computer Vision Partner, which delivers SW and state of the art algorithms for object, lane and traffic light detection. These are used for the development of autonomous and semi-autonomous driver assistance systems. In order to illustrate the results of the computer vision algorithms in a simpler and more understandable way, we are looking for support in programming a visualization solution. 

What awaits you?

• You will be involved in the development of a visualization for the computer vision algorithms. 
• You support our team in defining and implementing function-specific plugins and overlays.
• The maintenance of the workstations and versioning of the visualization tool will be part of your everyday life.
• You will test the results of the development both offline and online as part of a test drive.
• A daily coordination with us and our partners.

what do you bring

• Studies in computer science, electrical engineering or a comparable course.
• Experience with Python, TypeScript or comparable programming languages.
• First practical experience in the field of machine learning and/or deep learning is an advantage.
• Team and communication skills.
• Analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
