What awaits you?

• In your role as an IT specialist - Data Science & Analytics, you are responsible for the further development of processes and are the central contact for data models and applications.
• Your tasks include the development, further development, control and steering of innovation and digitalization processes.
• You will be responsible for creating, efficiently recording, preparing, linking and maintaining various data sources and ensuring data quality. You are also responsible for enabling the departments to use the applications.
• The development and operational support of dashboards for all specialist areas is also part of your area of ​​responsibility.
• Your other tasks include data analysis and programming of applications in Oracle APEX, Angular and MS Power BI as well as the further development of KPI monitoring.
• Together with the requestors from the specialist departments, you create concepts, prioritize them and implement them accordingly to create benefits.

What are you bringing with you?

• Degree in engineering, industrial engineering, computer science, business informatics or a comparable qualification.
• Professional experience in the field of business intelligence/data analytics and/or software development.
• Sound IT knowledge and experience in the area of ​​production processes, analytics tools and IT domains.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Power BI, Python, Confluent Kafka (e.g. programming of data pipelines) as well as front-end development with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and/or web application frameworks such as Angular.
• Experience developing web services using Java (JEE), C# or JavaScript (NodeJS) using paradigms such as REST or SOAP.
• Basic understanding of common IT systems (e.g. SAP, IPM, IPS-C, IPS-T).
• Initial knowledge of the use of databases as well as data formats and database language is desirable.
• Proficient in German and English.
